Don Smith
Board President
Don Smith has been a part of the fire district since its inception - over twenty-two years ago. Don is our current President. He has held that position since 1993. Don retired from his State Farm Insurance Agency in 2005. Our fire district would not be where it is today, without Don's leadership, and the tremendous amount of time he has dedicated to this organization.
Steve Land
Board Secretary
Steve Land is a former firefighter and has served as trustee since 1995. Steve is currently the Deputy Director of the Williamson County Emergency Management Agency. Prior to Steve's appointment, Steve was the news director with WDDD radio. Steve is certified to teach emergency classes in NIMS (National Incident Management System), as well as Public Information Officer, and Emergency Planning for Schools.
Fred Becker
Board Treasurer.
Fred Becker has been with the district since 2004. Fred retired as President of the Bank of Marion in 1999. Fred is still active in the banking business. Fred's financial background is invaluable to the fire district.
Terry Pike
Board member
Terry Pike has been a board member since 1996. Terry recently retired from FS, continues farming, and is the owner of Pike's Hunting Club in Marion, Illinois.
Gary Hill
Board Member
Gary Hill has been a member of the fire district board since 2008. Gary is a principle owner of M&H Insurance Agency. Gary's business experience is a tremendous asset to our fire district.
